I saw this on the news and thought it was the coolest thing I'd seen in a long while. You sign up your books, list where you are going to leave them and leave a prepared note for the person that finds and reads them...then they do the same thing over again...check it out...thought this might be a good way to have COC and other books read by interested people.

    Sincerely,

Now Travis......you might have to double check, but I am pretty sure that Penthouse and Hustler are NOT included in this "sharing"!

    Valis,

This is a really neat idea. I know when I was doing my research on the org. I was so paranoid. I didnt even want to order the books online or use my credit card, I thought J.W. spies were everywhere.Silly huh?. This program seems like it can benifit those who cant afford to buy the books they need and seems a little more private than the public library.

what an awesome thing. this reminds me of book-sharing i do with friends and family. we lend each other books and then when the person goes on a trip, they take the book with them. inside the cover we write down where we went. i gave a book to a friend of mine who went to new york, then africa, then new zealand, then australia, then back to chicago, and eventually back to me in phoenix. it was called "time enough for love" by robert heinlein. the book was already a special book, but it was even more special because it had been to all these places and had become a "traveled" book.

    i'm going to sign up.

    thanks for the cl link!
