As Brooklyn is undergoing a major renaissance, I could never understand why WTS sold at far less than the optimum real estate peak.
Thank you Seth Meyers for clarity.

Ah yes, a sign the End is close.
Twenty or so years ago you could walk past a bar or club in Brooklyn and witness a shooting or stabbing.
Now, you walk past a club and there's a pageant for hipsters with small dicks (sponsored by Stella Artois)
This world is going right down the toilet. Good thing the GB escaped before it's too late.
One more example of myopic mismanagement of the Lord's belongings, it seems to me.
They should not give up all their real estate in Brooklyn. It would be a huge mistake to do so. A mistake bigger than Warwick which has turned out to be the biggest financial blunder in the history of the Organization.
Someone needs to take charge otherwise the GB will drive the Organization into financial ruin. The GB is incapable of thinking straight. They lean on others, more than lead.
Sad story.
Vidiot: Hold Me, you almost sound like you want them to straighten up and fly right.
Yes, I do. How great indeed it would be if JWs could be set free from their oppressive leadership and live their lives as free Christians within a JW-like model, if they should so chose, or to leave religion all together if that be their choice.
Perhaps they realize the bible promises will not happen (like the GB's). The promise of God destroying those that destroy the Earth ( New York City) Rev 11:18 is uncertain to be valid, so it is better to move from so close to ground Zero.
Pack up and move to Warwick to escape the War
It's funny.
Before I became fully out, I remember one DC speaker going on about the recession - and the GB had told people ahead of time not to be buying houses, etc.
When they announced that they had sold some of their main-stay properties, I was certain that New York real estate would collapse the following year.
