I recieved an e-mail from a "Thurdson", titled Review of Crisis of Concience. It came into my Hotmail box, showed to be 127k, and seemed to not have anything in the body.
Also, something from a "jcmachisslop" titled W32.elkern virus remover, with a link to Mcaffee supposedly pointing me to a tool to get rid of said virus.
I did not get an immediate virus notification, but I am curious, perhaps someone trying to "ping' me?
Thirdson, MacHislopp, this isn't you guys, is it? I am assuming this is someone up to no good, using these names because I will recognize them and open them.
I delete on average two e-mails each day that contain a large attachment that comes from multiple sources including, apparently, "Simon", and "Admin" at JW.com. I used to use Outlook Express to open my hotmail but because of virus infected attachments being automatically downloaded I just use Hotmail on-line and delete all 127K e-mails without opening them.
I thought this was malicious at first but I think there is someone who frequents this board whose PC is infected and Outlook sends e-mail to everyone in their address book, using different headers, and always including an infected file.
Make sure your virus checker is updated regularly and try not to use Outlook if possible. I hope this helps and please be wary of large e-mail from supposedly known sources.

Yeah I got something else that matches this description, and immediately deleted it. It had the word 'porn' in the subject line, and was addressed to the jahchristian group along with several members of this group.
Nothing strange at all. We are being monitored...that is a given. I have noticed in the past that when I post more than usual I get all sorts of attacks, especially after the Dateline show. Right now, this is just after the BBC airing. These people have no scruples...it is considered "theocratic warfare" to do things that are illegal.

The JW themselves are also being harassed by this virus. My inside source tell me of e-mails being sent to members of my former congregation with mutilated texts, using Outlook Express.

There you have it. I have been coming to this board for many months and I have seen where people are being "attacked" at times where the WTBTS is being attacked for things that it appears that they cannot get out of. At least in thier own small minds.
Like I said to hubby today "If only they would own up to their mistakes. Look at the Catholics...at least they are coming out and saying what they did was wrong and they are open and upfront with it.."

They say that ignorance is bliss....well these ignorant ones will not be in bliss for much longer. With the advent of the internet, they are losing a battle and are too ignorant to realise that the general population is smarter than the ones they control!
