  Dear Mr Hooper,

  The Leigh Park congregation committee met today to discuss allegations that you have been associating with disfellowshipped persons.

  This was the second such meeting that you have been asked to attend. You have chosen not to attend either meeting.

  Consequently I must now inform you that you have been disfellowshipped from the congregation.

  A. MacFarlane. (Presiding minister)

  That's how I remember the letter, it's pretty accurate.

  How very ironic that 30 years from the day that I was forbidden to associate with JW's, I have lots of ex's visiting me to attend my barbie!

  I like the idea of a thank you card. Be sure to send along pictures of the barbie and all the enjoyment you are surely having

  A thankyou card would be wonderful!

  The elders are so used to people being mentally broken up because they have been cut off from the Kingdom Hall and the loving congregation.

  A thankyou card would prove that you don't give a damn! The pictures would just add to it. Maybe you could send a card and photos to ALL elders in your congregation, then it gives them something to talk about in their elder's meetings - other than gossiping about the brothers and sisters, it would give them a break for once!

  I haven't had a letter from the elders yet (after 18 months)!! I am feeling quite left out! Don't they love me anymore! Sob sob!! (lol)

  Many thanks, the barbie was, well, incredible! But I will leave it to others to post details, suffice it to say there were about 60 present, 17 of whom were posters from JW-D.

  I never realised that we had so many pretty women posters!
