As a few of you know, I'm not planning on spending another grim winter in this god forsaken country. (UK).
I am planning to spend 3 months out in the rainforest of Brazil with a further 4 weeks backpacking around the country.

Celtic!!! This is way cool! I wish I could volunteer, too. What a wonderful way to spend four months. Here you are going on this great trip and actually doing something about the rainforest!

oh, you don't know how badly i want to do this, especially the "Carrying out or participating in flora and fauna surveys" part. well, at least it's good to know these opportunities are there. i will do this when my son goes to college, for sure! (will you still need me when i'm 64, haha).
