One of my local (Pittsburgh) radio/tv stations has created a message board for people to share their thoughts and congratulations with the nine miracle miners. KDKA plans on submitting a bounded copy of all the posts to each of the nine miners.
I was overjoyed when I heard that they were all safely rescued.
I also viewed the messages on that board, and was taken by the amount of credit given to God for their rescue. I saw none of the credit directed toward what really saved their lives: hard work by smart and well-trained rescuers, a properly-engineered rescue plan, and equipment that was designed, built and operated by skilled people. All the praying in the world would not have done squat to help them, but the dedication of those fine rescuers got the job done. I say thank science, thank modern medicine, and thank human ingenuity for the safe return of those men.
I guess God COULD have made the job a lot easier, but nooooooo.....
