  Council of Churches Asks for Pardon of Prisoners
  
  The Korea National Council of Churches (KNCC) said yesterday it delivered a petition requesting a special pardon for conscientious objectors to President Kim Dae-jung on the occasion of Liberation Day, August 15.

  The KNCC also asked in the petition that some 60 prisoners on death row have their sentences reduced to life imprisonment.

  The petition lists 93 people in jail it calls prisoners of conscience. Several of those in prison are Jehovah's Witnesses who refuse mandatory army service based on their religious beliefs.

  ``They are arrested and denied the freedom of expression of their philosophy and ideology in this age of democracy, reconciliation, peace and unification,'' the KNCC petition said.

  It said the KNCC envisions a country that does not imprison those who express different ideological and philosophical views from what is considered the norm of society.

  It's interesting to see that the so-called 'apostate' Churches of Christendom will take steps to stand up for the Borgites, yet when the situation is reversed, will the WTS speak up for Christendom?

  And wasn't that a great book study?.... Blood, gore and the swords greasy with the fat of the slain... a real horror fest! .... And this is supposed to uplift, ennoble and inspire the faithful to intensify their love of neighbor and compassion?

  I can pnly wonder how many youthful adolescents dragged by their brainded partents to this celebration of annhilation saying to themselves: ``whoa... lemme outta here! Just wait 'till I'm 18!''

  Actually the Borg has spoken up on behalf of a member of Christendom in court, Jimmy Swagert Ministries. Of course it was based not on principles because the Borg has none to speak of, but upon self-interest at preserving their own tax-free status, as they knew they were likely next on the chopping block if Swagert lost his case.

  The eventual loss by Swagert in court is what prompted the new simplified arrangement in literature sales. Basically the simplified arrangement is a way of avoiding tax on profits made, i.e. its a tax doge.

  Spoke up for Jimmy Swagert so as not to lose their tax-free status.

  Looks like the harlot that rides the scarlet colored beast has a new daughter. After all sleeping with Satans representation on earth the UN qualifies the WTS now to be one of the heavyweights and to be considered by the scarlet colored wild beast as one of her own.

  Is this "new light", has the WTS forgotten their own prophecies? Or is it a case that they just don`t care anymore?
