Borg termonology

A young man I know has chosen to not be a victim of the Borg. His mother was overheard discussing the situation with another "mature sister". Her explanation of his behavior? "He just does not know how to take direction". They take mind control and give it a new name and claim it is a desirable thing.

It made me think of how many times over the years I heard that term, "take direction", and all the other many terms they use. If they actually called it mind control, everyone would see them for what they are.

What Borg term bothered you the most, and what did it really mean?

Another favourite one of them is "Theocratic".
If you did something that another JW considered it to be wrong,
    they called it "Un-Theocratic".
Because it was "Un-theocratic" I threw away my collection of WW2
model airplanes I spent many hours on in assembling them.
But it was "Un-Theocratic" to have such things in the house according to my
older brother and mother,so in the trash-can they went, all 12 of them.
Later on that same brother and me visited another JW,who had in his attic a
model reconstruction of the Allied Landing in Northern France, complete with
tanks and soldiers and whatnot,it left me somewhat confused why this was not
"Un-theocratic" but at that time I did not dare to speak up...

    INAPPROPRIATE.

So many things during my JW life were deemed 'inappropriate'. I got so sick of hearing that word that it STILL irritates me.

    How about "stumble"....

You dont want to "stumble" another brother...

also meaning ..... You dont want another brother to "disagree" with you.

Evidently, perhaps, no doubt, doubtless...all buzz words for "the Bible doesn't say but here is the FDS view just as good as the Bible until new light dawns."

I'd have to say the word "Organization" was the word beginning to make my stomach hurt about the time I went out, hearing it allllll the time, and having it ruuuubbbbbed into our faces constantly.

I have seen so many cool xJW slang on this site, but I cannot remember tham all. Here's just a few that cracked me up laughing...
