Ok, as if you all need another thing that that doesn't make sense but is typical JW thinking here goes.
They think dad only hears the prayers of the rightous and not the "bad" people. If you've done evil things dad won't listen to you. They also think that to be good with dad and me you have to confess your sins. If you've sinned and are temporarily evil dad won't listen to your prayers so how are you supposed to confess to him since he won't listen to you?

You may ask anything of us you like my child. Granted, we won't always answer you (hardly ever at all in fact) but you can ask and talk to us whenever you want.
Another example of simplistic thinking...as always we do not decide, the gb does all of our thinking for us...

You are suppose to go to the elders and they will intercede with prayer on your behalf! They will listen to all of the lurid details about your sin and then they will pray a prayer of faith (as long as you are repentant and have the right heart condition) over you and then and only then will you find favor in Jehovah's eyes.
