Wow. I hope this author is finally finding some peace and some friends. I hope he knows about us, too.
I would like to make a suggestion about the list. ('If you knew you were going to have to do these things and follow these rules, would you have ever let them into your life?')
I would like to see that list written up in such a way that it could be easily copied and distributed. We could 'save' a lot of people from ever getting involved in the first place.
Thank you. (By the way, it can be tricky to load this - be patient)
I hope Oprah finds out about him, or vice versa.
Scorpion,
Thank you for posting this very interesting site. I have already gone into some of the chapters and printed out several portions that were of peticular interest to me. Now I can read and review your work at my leisure. I appreciate your efforts to share this information. It is a loving and kind thing to do.
I hope that you are now totally free, and able to enjoy living this beautiful life.

The information on the site really took me down memory lane, of the horror variety. During lunch break, I zoomed in on Chapter 3--especially the "list" as structured wonderfully on pages six through eight. Excellent work!
This is going to be especially helpful to me today. It has come at the most appropriate time. I have a casual friend at work, and she and I have discussed religion during a couple of our conversations, as she has been very curious about my joy and happiness. She really seemed to want my input. She did not know that I was ever involved with JW's. About two weeks ago, she found out in one of our conversations. Since then she has been requesting information from me on a frequent basis. I did not want to get into her personal life, but felt she must have a pretty significant reason to probe me for JW information
This morning I learned her dilema. She was all set to marry this fellow--but he had suddenly become quite interesting in JW's, having begun a regular home Bible Study. He told her last night that he had "found the truth", and that all she had to do was marry him, and they would have a life "made in heaven". She came running to me to tell me that when he told her that, she told him that if he was serious about this change (which he is), then she could not marry him. She tried to give him some of the information that I had given her, and he refused to hear any of it.
She is so very happy that she found out in time. Prior to our conversations, she had only heard a tid bit here and there about JW's. (I'm not on a mission to speak about JW's and my experiences--that is behind me. I told her that religion is a very personal choice, but she kept asking me, so I told her of my experiences.) She feels that I was meant to give her this information and she is so grateful. She feels like she's been "saved from making a horrible mistake". And, bottom line, she was really in love with this person and had known him a long time.
I am going to share the information that I mentioned above, with her, and she can use it when they meet again this weekend. He is really presuring her. But, she is standing her ground. She wants to see if she can make him see "the light". She is profoundly thankful to me for giving her the facts, and I thank you for this additional source.

Dia and Sentinal,
Glad you enjoyed the site. It is an eye opener, especially to someone who knows little about the Witness faith.
BTW Sentinal, I am not the author of the site so I cannot take credit for it. The site was passed on to me by another who was involved with the WT. I just passed it on.
