Try and figure out where the Watchtower's income comes
from:
You have 11,582 congregations in the U.S.
Contributions are (deservedly) down
Let's say $500 a month for a year - $6000
Total: 69,492,000
Now, they have a pile of investments - but
the world economy will be fighting with deflation
and other problems for quite a while. Maybe they could
do some asset sales to get by.
They get bequests from suckers who died waiting for
Armageddon - but I wonder if their child molestation
follies will eat into that - as well as fewer suckers
perhaps, as the years go by! I knew a Bethelite who
told wonderful stories about big contributions to the
Watchtower. After a while, I noticed he was telling the
same stories over and over again. He eventually left
to pursue his own career.
Anyhow, think about costs!
Building maintenance
Support of Circuit Overseers
Support of Bethelites
Cost of Literature/Magazine production
and support of some foreign branches/ missionary homes.
I don't see how they do it!
Which may be why
they cut hard bound books
they cut food at assemblies
they are downsizing 1000 Bethelites
One GOOD CATHOLIC LEVEL lawsuit could crush these
scam artists.
Got any lists of corporate donors to the WTS that
we could send articles on child molesters to?
Here's your chance to hit them hard!
