Just in case no one else has noticed:
All of the old, formerly empty, buildings around the Brooklyn factory complex are being renovated with chic eateries at ground level and lofts above...
The crooks at Bethell know exactly what they're doing. Selling a few of the well-maintained buildings they own will significantly add to their coffers.
"Life never turns out like the pictures in books."
Back in 1992, we were visiting family in New York, and went into the city for the WTS tours. We ran into one of the 'big boys', that had been on our Poland tour in '89. We did a walking tour around Brooklyn Heights with him, and he pointed out building after building, owned by the WTS. Many were brownstones, and small apartment houses. He told us one 4-unit building had cost them $1 million, (still occupied by 'worldly people', waiting for them all to move or die, so they could use it for their own reasons) and said the WTS was a multi-billion dollar corporation. I was shocked. Still am.
