I am a 35+ year ex-JW. I left the organization quietly under my own stream (by disassociation) and it came as an utter shock to the 120-member congregation I was attached to. There was never any signs or indication of this.
What I can tell you is this: The events of "The revelation by Jesus Christ that GOD GAVE him" (Many call it The Book of Revelation) has not had a start at being fulfilled. Not one solitary thing.
All that the empire of Christianity and the WTBTS has been teaching about it has been in gross error and they have all been reckless and irresponsible in teaching what is more than 1000 years into the future.
There is no false prophet, no wild beast, no babylon the great, no 144,000, no scarlet-colored wild beast, no kings of the earth, no kingdom of the good news message, etc. These are yet to come. (In fact, no human will be entrusted to preach the perfect good news of the kingdom message, an angel will be given that message. See Rev 14:6. So what ever the WTBTS and JWs say they are preaching, it is not the good news of the kingdom message because God has not given it yet and when he does, only ONE angel will be given it to preach. I believe that angel is Michael (Jesus). He is the "Faithful Witness" and only one who has earned the right to preach it. (Revelation 1:5 and Matthew 24:14)
Some one is telling you that the false prophet is the dual Anglo-American power. This is false. What religious organizations are doing are attempting to make it into our time period today, what is to appear in a distant time period.
What many have yet to know and come to understand and realize is that "The revelation by Jesus Christ that God gave him" is about the events that will occur on the earth AFTER his 1000 year kingdom over the earth ENDS and Satan is un-Abyssed. (Rev 20:6-7)
The key to understanding what I said is true is to look at what John said as the reason why it was given: At Rev 1:1 as . He said: "to show his slaves the things that must shortly take place."

How long has it been since John wrote down the revelation presented to him by the angel? It has been over 1900 years ago. No human lives that long! So how Christs slaves be shown what must SHORTLY take place? Millions of slaves are long dead and buried for many 100s of years awaiting the promised resurrection. So how can THEY be showed what MUST SHORTLY TAKE PLACE?
UNLESS ...
ALL of those slaves are resurrected from their graves and are standing up on the earth!
In other words, in order for the "TO SHOW HIS SLAVES THE THINGS THAT MUST SHORTLY TAKE PLACE" would make any sense, the great and promised resurrection of ALL of mankind would have to occur FIRST. (John 5:28-29)
This promised resurrection has not occurred yet. But when it does ...
Then we will have a situation on earth were ALL of Christs slaves (which is ALL mankind because he purchased all of mankind via his sacrificial death. See 1 Cor 11:3), will have been resurrected and ALL stand up again alive.
Now the question is: What is it EXACTLY are the THINGS that Christ's slaves need to be shown that would shortly take place. Please understand SHORTLY TAKE PLACE FROM WHAT TIME OF REFERENCE?
ANSWER: The revelation is a chronicle and warning about what will SHORTLY take place AFTER Christ 1000 year age or kingdom over the earth ends! Satan is un-abyssed and establishes his kingdom or throne over the earth: The Wild Beast. Recall at Rev 13:2 that dragon will give to his Beast "his" power, "his" THRONE and "his" authority. (Also see Rev 2:13)
THIS IS WHAT JESUS IS WARNING HIS FOLLOWERS ABOUT. That they know what will happen after his future kingdom of 1000 years ends and he is no longer with them. Satan will be released! And, when he is released, this is what going to happen!
Many people do not understand that this is precisely what Jesus' disciples were asking him about at Matthew 24:3. They were not asking Jesus about when THIS PRESENT world would end. They were asking about when his future 1000 year kingdom would end! It was THAT "age" or System of Things they were interested in knowing would end. That is why they asked about "the sign" or "single event" that would signal his kingdom presence!
Thus, Jesus disciples were asking Christ at Matthew 24:3, (1) "When will your kingdom begin (the sign of it beginning) and (2) when will it end!"
Tie this into what I stated about the revelation being a warning about the events that will occur after Christs 1000 year kingdom over the earth ends!
Everything you have been told and taught about the "Revelation by Jesus Christ that God gave him to show his slaves the things that must shortly take place" has been in error or an outright lie and fabrication. Created to mislead you and draw you off course.
People, you are looking at the wrong time period!
Challenge: Given what I have just said, carefully read the revelation account. Do so without the prejudice of what you have been told by the Watch Tower or any other religious organization or individual. Read it fresh. Connect the dots!
