    Bill and Sheila,

Lift your heads up. My suggestion is that you kindly publish the names and addresses of the Infamous Six, so we can congratulate them on their courage and poll them as to how well they're sleeping these days, and how they feel when looking in the mirror.

Maybe they'll be asked to offer their experience on a Circuit Assembly program.

I would NOT recommend their names be published.

Absolutely wrong idea and possibly get yourselves and this site into a lot of trouble.

Use your own brains and play it smart.

Get their names by doing some searching on your own. You will find them - I did!

How would publishing their names and addresses get anyone in trouble? Its not exactly like anyone is saying go out and shoot them or anything.

But...couldn't they post the address of the kingdom hall. It is a public place, right? That would be kosher to put up here, wouldn't it?

remember, if the address goes up: people should send POSTCARDS, not letters to the hall. That way, there won't be any concern over safety ANNNNNNNNND everyone who catches a view of it between mailing and arriving will know exactly what those foolish elders have been up to!

    Just a thought!

Good reminder of being careful when publishing information.

Little background; Years ago the first reading I did on religious abuse was a book written by a gentleman who was at one time billed as the greatest ringmaster. Interesting read about his 10 year stint with the PTL Club during the Baker heyday. His conversion, his awakening, his financial loss, and of course the most heartbreaking, the shunning from a daughter. Anyhow...

He subscribed me to a newsletter he put out and told of his legal entaglements because he had published the phone number of a sheriff. Although it was public information in the sense it was in the telephone book, the FED seemed quite unhappy about it all. The reason the entire thing came about was apparently because this same man had gotten involved in a case where the mother had wanted a second medical opinion regarding her child, and apparently the State stepped in because it did not want the negative feedback about removing the child from the home...simply because the mother wanted 'choices.' Anyhow, one must use caution at times. Good reminder.

I absolutely agree with hawkaw on this.

I would STRONGLY recommend that the names NOT be published on this website.

If for some reason someone were to find them and post them here, I would recommend that Simon be informed IMMEDIATELY so as to properly edit the post and have the personal information removed.

You do not have their permission to post their private information including names and addresses here.

In posting that information, you are encouraging harassment of those individuals, as we have already seen people in this thread suggesting to send them postcards.

I am NOT saying I agree with ANYTHING the WT Society had done, I am simply saying it is NOT wise to post that information on a public web forum.

It is an obvious case of invasion of privacy, and a possible case against Bill Bowen for behaving maliciously and retaliating against their decision to disfellowship him by inciting others on a global scale to invade their privacy in one way or another, and sending unsolicited postcards to their private home addresses is an excellent example.

I again recommend that if anyone comes across this information, you DO NOT post it publicly.

I feel sure that should any information of a "sensitive nature", as described in the past by Simon, be posted inadvisedly, it wiould be deleted by Simon et al.
