Should true christians practise this custom?

True Christians shouldn't eat meat either ..... or at least they should raise and slay their own beasts and eat them. Aren't there outlines in the Bible about looking aftre livestock and treating it well? .... hardly a reflection on the current state of the dead flesh industry that people snack upon.

Hmm ... may have to write to the society about that :oP

So then, true Christians should be like Hippies, minus the acid trips (I think). Mind you, if you dropped some acid and stared out to the ocean, you could probably write your own version of Revelations.

Some things I like to ask them, the JWs, are:

Did Jesus Christ and his disciples have a beard?
If they didn't, how do you know?
The Romans who occupied that region seems not to have facial beard, especially the officers, are you following them?
Do you know these Romans at the time were pagan?

I wonder if they will be able to answer me or will I get a silent blank stare?

Replying to butalbee's post, I guess Moses, Abraham and Jesus won't inherit the kingdom since they wore beards. LOL

This was one point I brought up to the Elders, right before they called me an apostate.

Also, true Christians weren't supposed to wear pearls or braid their hair.

"true Christians shouldn't..." or "therefore true Christians would never....."

You could always find an "old testament" scripture quoted either before or after this statement. Something that came way before Christ. So how it should really be read is

"true Jews shouldn't......."

"therefore true Jews would never......"

This issu is one of the most crayzy things among us.

I READ ON A BORD THAT THIS COME FROM RUDHERFORD,

I heard that in germany they have decide that you can have mustach, if it is not to bigg, but inn sweden it is not so good, if you have this here , they say you are week in your spirite.

perhaps this will cange, inn watchtower you can see pictures of man widh beard and mustch.
