Really?They never come to my door anymore.I was beginning to think the preaching work was over and armageddon was about to occur.

I'm wondering about that though. Siegfried was having a study with them last year. When I found out about the UN thing in August, we put an end to that real quick. The elder that was studying with him called in ...er...about February of this year, and Sieg told him that he has some problems about the UN thing, the way that disfellowshipped people are treated, etc. Sieg said that he would be willing, at some point, to get with him (the elder) and talk about it. We haven't seen hide nor hair of them since.
No matter where I live, whether they know about my 'status' or not, I rarely see the JW's. They've come to my door maybe 3 times in the past 16 yrs. What's up with that?
With all the stories I have read on here about pretending to knock, knocking on brick, or knocking so softly as not even a dog would hear it, they probably HAVE been to your house. You just didn't know it! hehe

P.S. I got THAT knock a few weeks ago. And on Sunday morning too! grrrrr
We've been living in our current house for 9 1/2 years. The only time the JWs have stopped by (at least when I've been home) was to shove one of the "special tracts" in the door. They weren't even walking up the street, but rather drove from house to house and ran up to each door to quickly ring the bell and deposit the tract before anyone could come to the door.
