Bought one of these mini remote control racing cars today for the ehem "kids" (obviously, they can only watch it while I supervise the remote control )
It's brilliant! ... and the cats love it too It's about an inch or so long and recharges on the controller. A 2 minute charge runs for 10 minutes. You can adjust the acceleration and how tight it corners all from the controller and it has proper proportional steering and forward / reverse. All for 35 quid.

I think id prefer to play halo on the X-box or counter strike on the net, its funny when i put my cat next to the screen when im playing halo she goes mad and wacks the screen.
Simon - you can include teens in that list. My girls each have one, yep. I hope you bought one for Ang so that the two of you can sit on the floor and have races.
Oh - and dogs just looooooove them, however they don't just 'bat' them around.
You have a Verti-Bird!? I wanted one of those when I was a kid. Wonder if it's the same thing. Little helicopter that is attached to an arm and it goes up/down/forward/back? Has a hook and can pick up soldiers/cargo?
