"The Watchtower Society is already taking steps to protect itself from possible civil litigation. The organization has undergone restructure that conveniently protects its Governing Body from liability." Question: If the abuse occured BEFORE this restructure, wouldn't the law still apply to the OLD structure? There is a time frame in which if a relative becomes sick and enters a nursing home, the assets of the sick one CANNOT just have been transferred to someone else to protect them from becoming an asset of said nursing home if bills are not paid. Wouldn't the same rules/laws apply to the Watchtower Society??

They can reorganize until they're blue in the face. The fact is that by their policies, they amount to accessories after the fact to rape, child abuse, child endangerment, and harboring a felon.

These are not things over which the civil authorities have abandonded their responsibilities to the likes of Needle Nose Jaracz.

A few well-placed law suits, properly publicized, may be just the thump the JWs house of cards needs to come tumbling down.

    May it be so.

They reorganized into several new corporations in the U.S. hoping it would make it harder for suing parties to win their assets (cash, land, buildings, printing presses), but the right lawsuits could do the job. Figure it for yourself, if the Catholic Church worries about keeping its assets over pedophile priests, how much more so the Watchtower Society heads regarding the pedophiles they protect who go door-to-door trying to do so at every single door at least once a year!

Here if you hit someone with your car and you go home and put the title of your home in your wife's name so the claimant can't get a lien on it, it is called transfer with intent to defraud and it is not legal. Same applies to abuse judgements.

I am guessing these cases will be in court for years.
