I doubt it. How often have you heard the charge against the WT that they've sidelined Jesus? This convention seems to me like it was a reaction to that charge.

They are reactive. They make changes because they have to, because it's profitable for them. Not, because it may be living true to calling themselves Christian. That would be proactive.

The name jehober was still mentioned twice as much as Jesus at the rc. It was absolutely the 'lamest' convention (video fest) I have ever attended. Even my 87 year old, uber-duber, die-hard, mom commented, "Where's the meat?" Had to laugh at that comment. We had that 'porky' little gb brother there in Long Beach, Sanderson. I think he even had a hard time trying to keep a straight face when he talked about what a "spiritual feast" we all enjoyed. 7,000+ attended---29 baptized. Man the growth is phenomenal!

Maybe it has and that is the next new light, Armageddon came 10 years ago but we are just understanding it...that was true with 1914, not understood until 1925?

The first key to change something, to get away exaggeration is to think about from whom these teachings derive, that not each parable., illustration of jesus was s prophecy and not each allegory is true.
