No more drama...

  Since joining this board in Feb., I've had three nasty incidents:

  1. someone wanted to punch me out because I disagreed with them...and I'm no flamer...well, in board terms that is...

  2. someone made this dramatic post on this forum that they were pulling support from my book (probably because I don't shoot straight -- and he calls ME a drama queen!)

  3. and someone called a national media organization reporting what I had posted on this board that might have jeapordized my part in their story.

  but, ya know what? I believe in freedom of speech. I don't hate these people. I don't even know who the hell they are...other than three different usernames. Other than that they have no impact on my day to day life, my friends, my family. By posting on this board, I put myself out there. I'm risking, reaching out, trusting, testing, opening up...[and certainly in a very judicial manner]...but I'm still here. One of the three mentioned above got booted off this forum for matters having nothing to do with me. All of us show our true colours sooner or later.

  People who are respectful of others' right to disagree are not ass kissers. I've had enough drama for more than one life thank you very much. I choose to post responses to posts/threads that I feel I can make a contribution to. When I don't, I just say no.

  morrisamb, just tell it like it is. As they say, 'you will please some of the people some of the time but you won't please all the people all the time'.

  I can't understand why any thinking person would take offense to your work Morris. Your book is an encouragement for anyone who has dealt with the pain of being abused; verbally, physically, and emotionally. And believe me, you're in good company. It's the rotten truth that there are people here who want the victims to go through it again with their hurtful speech. People here who have no qualms in doing what they do to people like you are no more than a sick perverts wanting to take out their anger and frustration on other people. As far as I'm concerned, they can all rot.

  P.S. - They're jealous Morris becuase they don't have your talent....or your good looks. ;)
