It just occurred to me, that if you need two witnesses to a molestation...doesnt God count as a witness? Hasnt He, the holy spirit been a witness for Jesus? Then the JWs stand that they need two witnesses AND DONT HAVE TWO is a LIE!!!!

Unfortunately, the elders have never been able to compel Jehovah to testify in these cases.

Actually God was called as a witness. Remember Oh God? George Burns testified and then disappeared but there was no record from the court reporter. So I guess that doesn't count as a witness according to WTS.

Besides, who could serve God with a subpoena?

    That's a good point, LovesDubs.

It seems to me that the WT has vascillated on this 2-witness policy. Didn't they used to say two witnesses to the same incident and now they're backpedaling and saying two witnesses for the same perpetrator, not incident. Is that right? They're such politicians. . .

Lets get the elders to subpoena God since they hold all the power and they are the ones who always need to have the second witness. !!

    ofc.
