    Hi All,

When I was a little boy this is what we did at the assemblys to advertise the Sunday talk. This was at Richmond Va. I'm on the left, my cousin is in the center, and my brother in on the right. We passed out handbills. Remember the talk."Peace Can It Last"? We walked down the street, can you imagine how we felt at that age?

    Hi Ken,

Peace has lasted pretty darn well, all things considered, but Knorr didn't!

That makes me feel sad to see you little children with those signs hanging you.You look so innocent.I'm very sorry I made my son do some of the humiliating things he did.

I was 12 or 13 yo when my mother dedided I would make a great walking billboard on Polk street in Amarillo. I can remember feeling like a complete idiot and would have rather been anywhere but in Amarillo at that time. Ken, thank you for the memories, but please don't bring this up again.

Must have been before my time.

My thoughts mirror those already expressed: A SHAMEFULL EXPLOITATION OF CHILDREN.

It is too bad you don't have a picture of kids wearing the old "Religion Is A Snare And A Racket" -- seeing that on a child would be a new level of irony!

This was right after WWII and since it didn't end in Armageddon but the UN declared peace, he was saying SOON war would break out again and the big A would come, just you wait and see if we weren't right! Yea sure!

    Ken:

It pains me when I see the children at my door. It brings back the memory of what it felt like. I don't remember doing that - excactly, but I do remember passing out handbills. I think I passed them out at Yankee Stadium at assemblies. Those assemblies were such a waste of time.

Isn't is great to be free?
