Read this book in early 70's - fascinating science fiction.
Saw the first movie in mid 70's - still fascinating.
A new remake with James Caan is just starting on A&E - channel 46, 8 Eastern Time. Probably will show again.
Hope this one is as good as the book & first movie. Really fascinating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

MAN!, I had this on Beta and I don't have cable. Yes, good book and good movie....uh, did you understand the ending. In fact I read the book to understand the ending of the movie. And POW, still baffled. But good movie. almost reminds me of that new Tom Cruise movie. Vanilla Sky

Read the book first.....then saw the original movie. I just stumbled onto the book - fascinating.
However! The remake of this book was, imho, crappy. The ending was NOTHING like the book! I was soooooooooooooo disappointed!
Guess I'll just have to read that lil' book again, eh?
