Having the capabilities in and of itself alone does not define "REAL THREAT". There are many countries who have the capabilities. Since the fall of the Soviet Union it is still unknown what quantities of nuclear materials and other instruments that can be used to design weapons of mass destruction fell into the hands of dangerous people.
The question I raise again is: "Is Iraq a threat to the USA?" That is a lot different question than "Does Iraq have the capabilities?"
Handguns are sold daily in this country to people who have the capability of murder and crime. Our desicion to allow these people to have these weapons is based strictly on history- as I stated before IF the USA had valid proof that Iraq has in the past been involved in activities against the USA or had valid proof that Iraq was conspiring to engage in such activities Bush would not have to work so hard to sell his plan to the citizens of this country and our allies.
Your latter point, I agreed with when reading replies to my last post, as to nuclear material that has gone missing and/or plutonium supplies reaching into the wrong hands, there are one or two fairly accurate reports available if you know where and how to look, anyway, cheers Kelsey, take care matey.
