  So I remembered the old Hunchback of Notre Dame movie that came out back in the 90s, and I realized the one of the songs in it perfectly captures the way that the borg-org treats its kids, and how the kids feel trapped inside of it...

  Just substitute the words "deformed" and "ugly" with "imperfect" and "sinful", and it fits perfectly!

  Also, I just realized how much Quasimodo sounds like the Singing Cart from that JW broadcast video... Make of this what you will... O.o

  it's also very similar to Tangled, where Rapunzel finally leaves her tower and simultaneously is FREAKED OUT that she's being bad and completely delighted about the feel of grass under her toes and the joy of freedom. Seriously even if I was a witness (and I was when I saw it, and wanted out but wasn't there yet) but even if I was like really a witness, I would have gotten that message. Yep Disney sometimes really seems to get it. Check out also the lyrics to Frozen's 'Let it Go.'
