Well here is quite the contrast.

  Thursday night my wife attended a class for the children's ministry at our church. Debbie directs the weekday preschool and also teaches kindergarten, as such she works very closely with the children's pastor. He was in charge of that particular class. So when they get all done he looks over at her and asks her to say the closing prayer. Mind you, he's the pastor, there are a bunch of other men (as well as women) in the room. So Debbie goes over to the mic and says the prayer no big deal.

  I'd like to see everybody's reaction if someone tried that at the KH.

  That's really refreshing Jeff, thank goodness there are a few enlightened churches around!

  ya mean she didn't unfold a napkin and put it on her head first?

  Personally I threw a fit when my wife told me that she either had her son say the meal prayer or put a towel on her head first if she prayed while he was there (if I'm home I lead the prayer). I reminded her that as his mother she was NEVER subjugated to her son and I would tolerate NONE of this towel nonsense. Talk about cheapening women.

  I recall an incident that my bro-in law told me. He's married to my sister (jw) He is a Christian. He sadly told me about her confusion one night during a mealtime prayer. He said she kept taking the napkin off of her head and putting it back on and taking it off again. Poor thing. She got too mixed up with all of the rules, I guess. AND they teach that their God is not a God of confusion. Poor little sis. dj

  Well, I for one am SHOCKED that a woman would talk to God in the presence of others! What next? Will they they be driving cars and wearing pants? I'm moving to SAUDI ARABIA where they really know how to treat women!!!!!!!
