As witnesses, we were taught that everything that came from Bethel was direct from God. I find it curious and amusing what actually happens behind closed doors, from a place that should be above reproach, and held to the highest standards.
Any good stories that the normal witness folk never would have known? What was it really like? Far from perfect, I would imagine.

i had a friend who left bethel in the 70' because ot the homosexual problem that existed ther or more precisely he said"I'm tired of fags cutting my hair".
I knew a Bethel heavy that had to be counseled because he was not manly. The brothers worked with him to help him speak in a lower tone and with less animation.
Brothers with effeminate leanings were always looked upon with suspicion.
You'd get counseled about it.

That's quite a broad statement.
Not everything that happens at bethel, is believed by the Witnesses to come from Jehovah. Everything that is taught from the Slave Class is believed to come from him; What happens at Bethel with the ones who work there on a personal level has no bearing on the claim that they are God's chosen people.
If it did then they would mearly claim that they never said they were perfect.
