If the Watchtower Bible & Tract Society were indeed the actual spokesmen for the living God,

THE ENTIRE WORLD WOULD BE HELD IN THRALL THIS VERY MINUTE, HOLDING ITS COLLECTIVE BREATH, WAITING FOR THE NEXT SENTENCE .

Since the world doesn't give two farts in a hurricane what the WTBTS has got to say, I'd say that's prima facie evidence that the Society isn't the spokesman for any but their own doomed selves.

Note to governing body: tell that God of yours to pack it up his ass. And you guys help him.

Here's a quote from the book "All Scriptures Is Inspired of God and Beneficial" 1990 edition pg.9 para. 16

So it seems as though there is a direct link after all. Jehovah IS speaking through the WTBS
