Gosh........well off to visit my JW Mom and Dad tomorrow haven't seen them in a while, I've never approached them on anything I've learned here over the past few months, whilst I don't intend to be like a Bull in a China Shop with them (they are elderly), if I raise a subject,......but would like to plant a very very small seed of doubt with them??, which subject........UN, Silent Lambs, Blood etc ideas on what might work best, how to say it etc.

Just bring up the dateline episode regarding the JW's - that should begin an interesting conversation - although SATAN is making all the silent lambs do what they do.

When I first stopped going to meetings I had several heated discussions with my JW parents about the 'troof'. I find it difficult to talk to any JW about doctrine changes etc without the dub getting very angry or walking off.
After a particularly angry discussion my mum told me never again to talk to her about her faith as I was giving her doubts!!
You could always ask them who they now think is the King of the North. The answer I got was that at the moment they don't know !!! Priceless.
After more than 10 years out I'm convinced I could never change my parents views. I've also become very good at biting my tongue !!!
this is a very censetive topic, as an ongoing JW, i have try to tell my old parents some, what a reaktion, my mom say, the angels will fix so you are dfd.
I told them today, that as i see it we are in some trubbel, and some about that it is very confusing that jesus come 1918 to the tempel and we was the only one too se that, but when i read in some old books i find that this was not our belife, then not before 1930 we understand this, and 1942 we have the whol explanation in a book.918 we was belefing that jesus take his power in heaven 1874, look fore exampel inn milions who now live will never die.
Of evrything i read on the net, this is the most disturbing thing, someone here who have ask CO about this or an elder widh much expiriens.

Maybe its just me, but the most penetrating point for me was the Faithful and Discrete Slave teaching vs what happens in reality at the WT.
Fact: The JWs teach the FDS is all of the (elderly) annointed now alive on earth. These annointed are scattered among the many congregations around the world.
Fact: They do NOTHING in reality to produce and distribute "Spiritual food" as taught by WT publications - This is all handled by bethelites (earthly hope) at Brooklyn.
Fact: They are as in the dark as the rest of the JWs when it comes to "New Light" from Jah. Supposedly Jehovahs holy spirit acts through this worldwide annointed group to distribute divine insights to mankind. The plain reality is that they have NOTHING, NOTHING at all to do with it. They find out about new teachings when they appear in the Watchtower LIKE EVERYONE ELSE. They are never consulted. Just ask any annointed one if they have ever had input on the "this generation" revision, or the "Sheep and the Goats" change . If it didn't come from the annointed (FDS) then where??
This PROVED for me that the very foundation of the organization was based on false pretenses. This also proved to me that the WT does not listen to its own FDS!

jehovah isn't God's name - it's a made up word - you can put whatever spin you want on it.
It's a really good thing that the wtbts were guided to adopt that name.

It's really good that the wtbts chose the stake, because the cross just isn't symbolic of them.
