sad, sick and unmerciful you must be, to accept that a little girl's life is taken at just 15 when it could have been saved. And for what? For what? A book that hints blood transfusion is the work of the 'devil'. A supernatural being that we don't KNOW for CERTAIN exists. A girl has to die for mere 'faith' in what we don't know is true. Hundreds like her have died, the chance of living stripped from them as if it is a righteous and good thing. Perhaps you need to question your god! Even if he does exist don't you have the self confidence and morality to question why children have to die for this god! Can't you disagree with him! If the bible told you to commit evil acts would you not question that and be your own person on the issue! Well, guess what, you are asked to commit evil acts, and yet you commit them in the name of a good holy god! Children die when they could be saved, love is ripped apart because of your intolerance of other people who refuse to let a book rule their life! Horrendus sex crimes are commited by your followers that are so incredibly evil, and yet you do nothing, your 'elders' do nothing, because you let your beleif that jehova will deal with these offenders rule over the morality of stopping this person from commiting more evil. You ALLOW evil to take place, offenders within your community to reoffend in the name of goodness!!!!!!!!!!!!! You tear loving families apart when members are told they aren't allowed to be there for her sister on her birthday. A joyous, happy event for the whole family. Christmas time, when reletatives get together and share, talk, laugh, be happy, that is a good thing! It doesn't matter what a book says when you feel love for others and share it with them! The answer to stopping christmas from being a superficial, greedy time does not lie in banning it, but encouraging family values and not to spoil children and go over the top! Whether or not they CHOSE to believe in a supernatural spirit is up to them and they don't have to 'worship' what they don't know to be true if they don't want to!! By ruining birthdays for siblings, mothers and fathers, christmas for families and relatives, you ruin goodnes! You ruin happiness! And to me that is more evil than enjoying the time we have alive together, what we know and only know to be true.

What a strong statement, Jane. Too bad they won't wake up and see how they are wasting lives that could be saved and productful.

Welcome to the board too, BTW.

Welcome to this dicussion board, jane53.

You are so right with all that you have expressed.

But I'm afraid you are "preaching to the choir". This discussion board is about Jehovah's Witnesses, but the majority of people here have left that cult and know first hand what you speaking about.

Please feel free too discuss your concerns because I have a feeling you will like what you learn here.

WOW Jane53 you seem very angry and you have every right to be.......take a look at the stuff comming in from Australia about the abuse cover ups. I think if enough public out cry is voiced than this organization will be reformened, even possibly governmentally dissbanded. What you expressed is very true. I'm sure nearly everyone who comes here will agree with you!

Welcome Jane...strong words and words that need to be said!! Lets hope all the undercover Dubs on this site read it and take it too heart...I doubt it though...but if you even reach one it was well worth it huh!! I presume you are talking about Bethany (Mia)?? I live not to far from Calgary and her struggle, her fathers struggle touched me deeply. I believe someone had mentioned this already, but the mother of this young lady spoke she would step in front of a train to save her daughter. The irony is she would not allow blood to save her. So where is the justice in all this? Where is the sense? To me JW's may as well be as low on my list of wanting to be part of as Jim Jones and his cult. How many Jonestowns will it take before the Dubs can be permanently shut down from their inside conspiracy's at the cost of the innocent children? Sure its fine for an adult to make decisons, to take blood or not, but a child is not experienced in this world to know any better. And the molestation and abuse I have been reading about just makes me sick. The coverups, the secrets and the lies...and they call themselves the true religion BARF BARF BARF. makes me so mad my hemorroids burn and I don't have any!

Jane, thank you for your thoughts--and I can assure you that almost everyone on this board agrees with you. Most of us have left the JWs for various reasons and we are trying to inform others about what has been going on. It's good to know that there are those like you who are just as upset and disgusted as we are.

Wow Jane, those are some pretty harsh statements. But the problem is, is that you kept saying YOUR beliefs, and most of the people on this board are no longer in the organization. We just talk about the things we have gone through as former witnessess. I agree with everything you have said about the jw's and what they believe. I am sorry for your anger on the subject, and I hope you found relief in getting it out. We are here if you would like to talk about it.
