We've actually been contacted by a number of current JWs saying that they think it's just terrible and they'll be demanding change..
And still the fallout continues.....
Also the network report:
we just can't believe the response... absolutely FLOODED by calls and e-mails over the past couple of days.

Hi Ozzie, I received an email back too. Seems they intend to do more next week on our fury little friends with the long tails. Why do I have to be out of the country when the #### hits the fan? I wonder if anyone has told them about the book "Sex in the Sect" by Vicki J.? Have you ever read it? I have it at home and am happy to lend it....

Good job Ozzie. I am a little depressed, though, because I no longer have the ignorant bliss I enjoyed as a brainwashed Dub.

Denial (of course )but a desperate kind,
Shock, one sister said she never imagined this could go on in jehovah's organisation
Anger, some of my wifes family do not want to go to meetings any more.
Fear, one appointed brother said he would be frightened to go witnessing after this.
Shame, someone said it was the first time in their life that they felt ashamed to be a witness
Tears my wife and i were crying phones were ringing, people were saying thing they haven't been free to express
I feel so sorry about this but it had to come out for the sake of the victims

Protecting the vunerable is pure worship, looking afer the little ones, this is what will be judged

Disgruntled1, I am very interested in your feed back. My mother, who is very ill, was terribly depressed about the program. I kinda wish she hadn't seen it because she has enough to cope with at the moment. I heard from my father that one of my brothers said it was all old hat and happened years ago. Obvious reply being: All the stuff in the Catholic church happened years ago and it hasn't stopped the media from grilling the church for over it. Why do Witnesses think they should be exempt or that something that happened a few years ago is of less importance. Anyway it's still happening and while the elders are so haughty and self important, nothing will change.
I gather that Channel 9 isn't finsihed yet - and there is more to come. I myself want to whole issue of disfellowshipping exposed. Because I've been denied access to my family for over 20 yrs and I left quietly. Yet child molesters are often reproved privately. How can they explain such actions?
