What did this mean? Any suggestions?

I note from the October 2002 issue of Kingdom Ministry (Britain), the following announcement:

We wish to thank all those who sent letters of appreciation for the fine "Zealous Kingdom Proclaimers" District Convention programme. The drama was particularly well received. Many expressed their appreciation for the encouragement to stand firm in spite of various forms of opposition they are experiencing. Some offered suggestions and we want to assure you these will be considered as we make preparations for next year's district conventions. Of course, we know you will understand there are certain constraints that govern locations and programme times, so it may not be possible or even practical to implement all of your suggestions.

In regard to what were the suggestions made that are being considered?

Presumably they have to do with locations?

It seems there must have been a widespread reaction to some situation that led to an announcement for the whole country in the Kingdom Ministry.

BTW it's interesting to see that "opposition" seems to be hitting the mark!

    Cheers, Ozzie

    Hi Ozzie,

Yep, I sure would like to be "privy" to what those "suggestions" might be.

I have a few suggestions for them myself, but I doubt they would listen.

    Well,

I sent a suggestion that they imprison for at least three years anybody willing to mime to those awful drama tapes and that they open a wine bar with finger-food at the Summer Assemblies. I have yet to hear back though I know that the wheels of Theocracy move very, very slowly.

WOW I actually told my JW parents I'm going to the march.

She called me back and asked again the reasons I was going (my dad was now on the line)

I told them about the 2 witness policy and that over 5000 victims have come forward. Also about some of the secret letters to the BOE. She wanted me to be careful because I was giving a complete stranger a ride and to be safe up there. (HeHe)

I think threre are many people starting to ask questions. I've told my sister about the march and her mother-in-law heard aout it (A JW).

    Ozzie,

I understand that there was a hue and cry that finally reached to Mill Hill regarding the sanitary provisions at two of the larger Assembly's in the South, Twickenham and Portsmouth. It may be something to do with practicalities rather than anything of a theological nature.

Anybody who has stared into the communal bowls used for handwashing in the Twickenham washrooms, especially after several dozen people have used them, well knows the significance of germ warfare.
