So Plum, where were you at? Dungbeetle and Cello were looking for the apostafest and couldn't find anyone. She thought it was an apostaBUST! I couldn't go, because my daughter was just out of the hospital after being ill with viral meningitis. These pictures don't look the the Alpine Village Restaurant. Is this outside, somewhere else?

It was in the parking lot with a tent cover over it and a sign on it that said "Octoberfest"
Patio and Sally probably walked right by Beetle and Cello and viceversa a few times.
We were all in the right or wrong places at the right and wrong times. LOL. What a day!

Thanks for posting those pics Plm! I had a great time and it was so much fun meeting everyone. Plus, we learned better how to organize it for next time! Live and learn I always say (I ALWAYS am saying that, hee, hee!).
The dinner at the restaurant that evening was so good, that I made tostadas for dinner tonight too. Redondo Beach Pier is spectacular and I'd like to have explored it more. Thanks for suggesting that.
