Who "owns" the Watchtower???

  That's right! This is indeed my question?

  Who owns the Watchtower Bible & Tract Society?

  I have no knowledge about legal corporations and such, but someone must own this corporation. Shares maybe? I don't know!

  Is there somebody who know how this works? When you become JW and are baptized, do you get a share in the WT?

  The person or persons who own this company can do anything they want with it

  Find them!!

  P.S.

  The Leaders are not the owners? Or,,,, are they? The ones who lead; are they more powerful than the owners, or are the owners the ones with the real power??

  There are 500 members, from all over the world who can vote every year. Most are members of the branches world-wide. I know a few names.

  The "voting" members will do whatever the GB direct. This is the way it was when I had shares in one of their corporations. A real privilege at the time , but it only "entitled" me to do what I was told!!
