Too bad there isn't a web cam on the wt's front street. We could see it live, as it happens.

    Are they stealing the limelight:

Washington, D.C., authorities have made at least 500 arrests today as hundreds of protesters targeting a meeting of the International Monetary Fund and World Bank clashed with police on the rainy streets of the nation's capital. The protesters say unfair IMF policies benefit wealthier nations at the expense of developing ones, but the IMF says its policies help the poor.

I went to CNN.com today to see if there was anything on the march. All I found was the march mentioned above by kelsey. I wonder if any of the major networks will pick it up. Any clue how many hundreds showed up?

    Just wondering

    Kenpo,

Last estimate I heard was 500. NBC is covering it on the scene. I don't know if it will be on news tonight or another Dateline segment.

With all the other various protests going on today against this and that in DC, since early morning, I'm beginning to wonder if they have taken all the attention away from our Lambs up in NY. I have been listening to the news all day long at my desk, and have check the web for any CNN or MSNBC, and have not come across anything.

But good weather has prevailed in NY today for our friends! I'm certain the activities are still going on as I type this. We will just have to wait until someone hears something. I am so anxious for any news about them, but all I hear is the World Bank protest stuff.

Kelsey asked, "Are they stealing the limelight?" about the protesters in Washington DC the same day as the Silent Lambs march.

Actually, I think this can be to SilentLambs benefit, because I'm sure our apostate friends did not misbehave and cause property damage the way the protesters in DC did.

Like the the rest of us out here in "radio land" I'm eagerly awaiting some information about how it went.
