There is poster with a video-tape of the news broadcast in NY about the march. She is willing to send the tape to a poster who can magically convert it into a computer video for us! She claims that J.R. Brown made a statement on it saying that, Just recently...a letter was sent out to all congregations telling them that they have the 'right' to go to the police. DJ!!!!!! No doubt about it!!!!!! That's exactly what that JR person said!!!!!! I saw him & heard him on channel 11 WPIX [NYC], I was also at the march, and saw News reporters taken inside the bldg. to get that statement. HE SAID; "JUST RECENTLY....a letter was sent to all the congregations telling them they have the right to go to the police", [and then the reported mention, if members would be shunned if they do that, HE SAID; "NO", what a liar!!!!!!!, I cant wait for you to see this caption!!!!!!.....rocky220

Of course saying that people can go and encouraging them to go are two different things. We know how well the WTS can say something and use language that really says "you will not ..."

i was told....

that the handout, news release that the "public relations" people at the wt hq handed out said at the bottom of it, that it is NOT nessasary to have two witnesses to molestation.

if that could be confirmed by anyone who could get their hands on the release, it would be damaging.

because that last letter they sent out says totally the opposite!

i got to tell you, there was some sort of problem with the reporters. two of them would not be let in, and although i missed the reason why they wouldn't let them in, the nypd on duty there said:" well that ain't right!"

the nypd guys deserve a thank you, as they got from all of us at the march.

It sounds too familiar, doesn't it?? Sort of like, 'There are no consequenses for a jw taking a transfusion....they have shown that they have disassociated themselves' . Remember that one? Just sick!
