Well, I'm not in Jackson, but in the proximity at least- I live in Detroit. I DA'd myself six(?) years ago *counts back*. Well round about that anyways. :) Welcome to the boards!

Hello Harley and welcome.
Don't worry about the tag of apostate. Nearly all of us are considered apostate too. I wear it as a badge of honor. The alternative is to still be clinging to an oppressive religion hoping one of their false predictions someday come true. I'd rather be a thinking apostate over a braindead dub anyday.
Sorry, not in Jackson either, just wanted to say not to worry about labels, they don't mean a thing unless you let them.

Well, I am not from Jackson, but grew up in the Monroe area, before moving to Ohio, but possibly attended assemblies with you?
I left the JWs in 1979, went back briefly during the Desert Storm war (yep, was scared).
