I found the CD I had mentioned to you previously with James Galway and the Cheiftains together. It is called "Across the Sea to Skye".

Dear Red, Thank you mensa mamma for reminding me that I need to pick up that CD. I have a cassette that a friend gave me with a few hornpipes from that disc. Galway is awesome as usual on those. Do you ever play along with the music on your flute? It's fun playing with Galway. lol, I can finally keep up with them on the tin whistle. Seven

Do you ever play along with the music on your flute?

Oh, I would love to, but I'm not good enough. If I had kept up with my practicing the way I should, I might have been by now, but I just haven't been putting in the time.
I used to love playing duets with my flute teacher. The only problem I had was that it sounded so beautiful with the two flutes playing in harmony that I wanted to just stop playing and listen. Of course, that tends to defeat the whole purpose of the exercise.
