    Hi All,

I am sitting here being thankful for my greatest gifts that I have, my two daughters. Today my youngest called and wanted to come by for dinner and wanted to know what we wanted for dinner. She had an hour and 1/2 off from her work at the doctors office and wanted to visit for a while. We enjoyed it so much. We then went to see my other daughter who lives out in the country. It's sure good to feel so loved. I can tell both of them truly love us, not because they tell us so often but because you can feel it and see it in their eyes. I also got to see Emily, my grandaughter and my new great grandson.

When we left she said for us to be sure and be home Friday, she would bring something down that we would really like. Me wife told her not to be spending money on us. She said it was just a gift of love and for us to be sure and be here. I can't imagine what she has for us. I am surely blessed to have my daughters.

Awesome post Ken...I love the updates you share with us about your family.

Your family love you dearly, there is no greater reward in life then to be loved by your offspring. All the hard work, long hours and money invested in their upbringing comes back and revisits you with moments like yours.

I have 3 beautiful children who reflect my own love for them in the things they do for me. I hope it never stops.

Congratulations KenpoDragon and Congrats to your wife also...please let us know when the new one comes along...I just love babies.

ps..btw ken, we must due for more pics of Emily don't you think!

Ken, I totally agree. One of my most memorable moments in my life came about 4 years ago. My oldest daughter called and we talked for about 2 hours. During the conversation, she talked a lot about her childhood memories and basically, even though her Mom and I split when she was 10, said she had nothing but fond memories of growing up. Since I have very few fond memories of childhood, I can't tell you how happy that made me feel. Sometimes, I think we can actually read each others minds. I know that if I ever need anyone, she would be there for me in an instant and has been.

Much like you, I wouldn't trade my daughters for all the tea in china. There has never been another female I knew who cared as much about me as my daughters do. I can't tell you how lucky and fortunate I feel that I have them in my life.

    Awwwww Ken

I love reading your posts about your family, and your relationship with your daughters. I feel I have that kind of relationship with my boys, they're only 16 & 17....but I greatly look forward to the growing friendship we have, and I can't wait to hold their babies in my arms some day....not in the near future you understand but someday.
