After watching newbies come on board and say hi, I realized that I had never done that myself. I have enjoyed reading the posts, and I am sure that I will continue to do so. Of course we all relate to some more than others, but I enjoy them all the same.
My background consists of growing up as a witness, with my immediate family very involved. Amazingly, no one is now. I met some people when I was in my early 20's that were more God like in their actions than many witnesses I knew. I then began to realize that there was no way that God would destroy these people just because they were not witnesses. As time would go on, I would realize that this indeed was not God's organization.
I have not been active for about 10 years, and have remarried a gal who is wonderful. She too grew up as a witness, and has left. Neither of us are df'd, nor da'd. I still have a minor child that is involved, and so it is a tough situation. I just live my life, don't say anything, and enjoy his company when he is here. He doesn't know anything different. Yet.
So, here is a belated hi.
