Many professional organizations are in place that can aid in all aspects of child abuse, including therapy and even litigation. One in Georgia, funded by United Way, is a good example- there are professionals in such organizations whose aim is to aid and who are not fed out of anger against an organization or others.

Thank you Kelsey for that link.

Yes, there are many organizations out there that are prepared to help abuse victims.

It is noteworth that many of these large charitable organizations were founded because someone with a vision was angry enough at the injustice they perceived and sought to do something to help those who were suffering. Their grassroots efforts grew and flourished until they became the large charitable organizations we see today. The United Way and others are examples of this.

The article mentions the fee's vary. Actually they charge according to your income!...

I used it when my children were very young. Being exposed to the JW's were very nerve racking! I always though I had to be perfect!...The United way helped me a lot!..I got strong enough to leave the religion and stand up for myself!

Hubby wasn't making much money then and it was quite affordable with the way they charged! What's funny is when they talked to my younger daughter..she thought my side of the family was bad, because they were "Worldly"...and she thought hubby's side was "good" beause they were JW's. And I helped teach her that!..The counselors sure know what questions to ask..things we would never think of!...

Just putting in a plug for United Way......

Way to go, Kelsey007, just keep rubbing and smearing in an entirely new thread. It's really becoming of you, as is your name. You seem to come across about as pompous as Kelsey on the TV show. And as far as the 007 part of your name, that too is still in question since I did not see a further reply from you to AlanF's comments on that other thread.

And like Pilate, I hope you are thoroughly washing your hands after your "dismissal" of silentlambs. We can see you are much "too good" to be associated with silentlambs, and it's a good thing. People who have their heads as high up in the air as you do, would not have a clue as to how abuse victims feel. Righteously-Indignant and Passionate people do get angry. Who woulda thought? Of course, Passionate is probably something you have never experienced because you are "so much better than that, " so "mature," and you keep such tight control and reigns over your "emotions." What a comfort you must be to hang-out with.

Did you bother to "help" the lambs via the silentlambs Group in regards to your previous questions?

Thanks to Dutchie for your continued well-worded observations.
