Thanks Rado for the update. I wondered what was happening with that situation. Truly a horror-story for all concerned. Very sad.

It's a shame to think that 7 non-jws have died to save JWs who would have never lifted a finger to save their lives. That's what is my initial gut reaction. (of course there is always the resurrection--(I need a sarcasm emoticon)

When a narciscisstic braindead dub hears this, the first and last thing out of it's mouth will be, "Is the witness ok?"

...who would have never lifted a finger to save their lives.

    Exactly.

I suspect rescuing the witnesses was a secondary goal of the operation. The Phillipine Army is going to have more casualtys in the future in trying to root out these muslim terrorists, so it is probable they would have attacked this bunch rather the witnesses were there or not.

One group of nutcases fighting another group of nutcases trying to rescue 4 pretended Avon sales reps who are really Dub missionaires. Not worth the 7 lives lost.

Has the Society at least encouraged JWs to stop trying to preach to people in this hellish area? Or even ALLOWED them to stop???

Or are they going to have to wait until 'Caesar' makes a law about it?
