To Elders_son honestly get a copy of the Awake of Nov 2002 pg24 and see for your self. I did not edit it, it is in low scan quality to help upload speed (I did not make a good job of that webshots did not work!, strike9 will not work missing dll in my files?!).

Yes but, it's not a victory sign. Cut and paste the pic into a photo prog and zoom in.

That kid is obviously holding a pencil. That, or he's got the straightest index finger I've ever seen in my life. And it's not the same diameter as his bird finger either. Plus, as noted by another poster, he's got his cheeks blown out as in giving a raspberry, and he's doing it Euro style with his other hand on the inside of his elbow. I'll bet that pose is the end result of giving a full-blown Euro-finger, and more power to the lad. He obviously is far wiser than his age would indicate.
