JW infertility treatment.

I was driving to work earlier this week and caught the end of a news story on Radio 4 (UK). I heard that a 'Jehovah's Witness woman' was the first in the country to have become pregnant by the use of her previously frozen eggs and her husbands sperm.

What is unique (I beleive) is that her egg[s] was fertilised in the womb rather than the 6 or more which are usually fertilised in vitro.

This latter practise is often unacceptable to JW's as it raises the dilemma of dealing with several frozen unfertilised embryos.

Does anyone know anymore about this story? I can't find a link anywhere.

    Thanks in advance.

Here is a link to the story as covered by our trusty friend, The Guardian:

    And this from the BBC:

    My thoughts:

I am not sure why the BBC story did not specify that the couple were JWs.

I am not sure why a JW couple would go to such lengths to have a family "in this time of the end".
