Hi,
I'm just wondering if there are any Aussies, particularly Sydneysiders, who would be interested in pooling together and going to Jan's funeral? I don't know when exactly it is going to be held, but I guess it will be in the next few days in Brisbane.
If anyone is interested, let me know, either via this post or send me an email.

I am new to this forum and did not know Jan. But many people seem to think deeply of her. Does anyone know if there is somewhere that flowers can be sent?

Prisca,just in case you do go. Do you have a paypal account? If so, could you tell me how much, in american dollars a small floral arrangement would cost and I will send you the money so that you can buy it and bring it to her funeral for me?

Beck, I agree it would be nice if someone from our group could read out a few words on her behalf. I guess it depends on the family, and also if anyone from here can go. Hopefully someone can go.
One thing that can be said of Jan. She always had time for others. She was always so busy helping others but still she took the time to send personal e-mails along as well. She was truly a giver.
I for one will never forget her.
I am very saddened by this. I live in Brisbane and have has communication with Jan a fair bit. I may be able to attend. When is the memorial and on what date?
According to a family member, the details will be published in the Brisbane Courier-Mail. I have just tried looking at the online classifieds, but there is nothing there. Perhaps it might be in tomorrow's paper?
