There will be a counter cult awareness program held in Sarasota at The
Tabernacle, 4141 DeSoto Rd. Sarasota, Florida.
Pastor Neville Grit has graciously given us two Sunday services to
present our program, the first will be at 8:15 am on sunday Oct. 27, the
second service I believe is at 10:45 am.
We have titled the program NOTHING CONCEALED based on Luke 8:17 "For
there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed and nothing concealed
that will not be known or brought about into the open: And this is our
purpose to bring to light what the Watchtower really represents and we
are providing innoculation against the Watchtower disease.
On Sunday Bill Blatz will be giving his testimony and discussing the
difference between communion at the Kingdom Hall and communion with
Christian churches. He has a ministry "God is Love" in Northport, FL.
Diane Gholson will also be giving her testimony concerning her 43 years
as a Watchtower Slave and what it means to be a Christian and free. She
is branch director of Midwest Christian Outreach in Spring Hill, FL
Everyone will receive an excellent brochure in the church bulletin which
will help immensely as you face the Jehovah's Witness At your Door.
On Wed. evening, Oct. 30 the program will continue at 7 pm.
Again two speakers.
1.Former full time minister Dan Hurley who exited
the Watchtower this past January. He will be giving his testimony and
will show how after serving at the hospital when a blood transfusion
became an issue and how this helped him examine what the Bible really
says about the use of blood. You won't want to miss this.
2. Shirley Jackson from St. Petersburg (Her story was in Spiritual Shunning" in the St Pete Times) will give her heart rending testimony relating what it cost her to take a stand for Jesus. Bring a
hankie.
