I just saw the video last night on MTV2 for "you know you're right". Actually they had a small run of Nirvana stuff for a couple of hours and every now and again it is strange to be transferred back in time to that period of your life.
It was kind of eerie to hear the raw sound of something new from Nirvana on the radio a decade after Kurt died. I don't think there is anything out there that grabs your attention and captures what you are feeling quite like Nirvana did for generation x.
The music industry seems rather desperate for something new and fresh that will do the same thing nirvana did. Tossing out a "new" Nirvana song among old songs we already have is an indication of their desperate state. Tom Petty's "Last DJ" is a pretty good commentary on what things have become.

I was born at the tail end of the Baby Boomers and love Kurt Cobain and Nirvana. Sorry Path, but you Xers can't claim Kurt for your own. My dad admired Kurt too.
