MYRMIDON
Pronunciation: /MUR-mi-don/
n 1: a loyal follower
*2: a subordinate who executes orders unquestioningly or unscrupulously
Example use:
*"Like myrmidons of a mighty lord, the company's lesser executives slavishly respond to every demand from on high."
Another example use:
"The Rank-and-File JWs are myrmidons of the Watchtower's Governing Body, slavishly and obediently following every demand from Brooklyn."
