    g'day alan,

English account keeping practices? .. in my experience it's sorta like; "put the cash in the tea pot gov'ner and we'll say no more about it, know what i mean, wink wank, nudge madge say no mowa"

.. then there's the Jehovah's Witness Window Cleaner account keeping method "never mind look'n in me tea pot .. it's all in me head mate" .. (with JW's it's all in the head)

unclebruce who never went to JW WC class.

ps: being a touch cryptic today aren't ya?

    Hey big guy.

Maybe Expatbrit could help. He seems like one sharp bean counter to me.

    Alan:

I wouldn't describe myself as an expert, having been out of the UK for almost 10 years, but would be happy to try and assist if I can. If I cannot, I may know where to go for further assistance.

    Hi Alan

I wouldn't claim to be an "expert", but I am a UK- qualified accountant (FCCA), and I'll try and help.

    What's the question?

    Duncan.

    Hi Expatbrit,

No, not a lion-tamer, just an accountant.

Actually, I never wanted to be an accountant... [far away look] ...when I was younger I'd dream of being...

    ...A LUMBERJACK! Yes....

Leaping from tree to tree, as they float down the rivers of British Columbia!

The giant redwood! the larch! the fir! the mighty scots pine!

The smell of fresh-cut timber! The crash of mighty trees!

With my best girlie by my side, we'd sing...

    Sing!!

    Sing!!!!
