I'll be in Phenix City, Alabama Sunday the 3rd in case any of you are from that area.
My older brother will be driving the #75 pure stock (enduro) Camaro in the National 100 dirt track championship race at the East Alabama Motor Speedway. I'll be helping out on the pit crew.
I have to work Saturday so I'll miss the qualifying races. Hopefully Joel will make it into the feature race. He's just getting started as a driver and this race means a lot to him.
Good luck to your brother! Dirt track racing cost my brother his marriage, just too much time and too much money going into the old car. It can set you back a little, but it is a lot of fun.
I was just up above there for a few days a while back. Cheha, Ft. Payne, a lot of pretty country and beautiful waterfalls up that way, especially around Ft. Payne. I envy you the experience.
